This is dedicated to our young Warrior Dominique, this is dedicated to all past, present, future Indigenous Boys who present their braids proudly. To me, my hair represents who my ancestors were, my hair represents my family, my hair is a part of my soul. My Hair is a reminder of my life, from being born, to this day. After the recent events AT WASHINGTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL of a young boy getting his braid cut off, best believe (with the amazing responses from the Indigenous community) more braids will be grown from our strong young men. There's no such thing as a bad student (child), just bad teachers (parents). To all non-Indigenous parents, be the proud parent that has a child standing up for our children who wear their braids proudly.
