At the young age, Yellowjohn and his family took a trip to Disneyland and left back home on a plane. In those days, electronics weren't an option for entertainment. Young Chad was given a pen and a Garfield notepad, and drew what he could remember.
On the plane ride back from Disneyland, Yellowjohn was drawing Mickey Mouse, Dumbo, Goofy, Peter Pan, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. They weren't quiet accurate, but close enough for you to recognize some of the characters.
Without young Chad realizing it, his mother Ione Yellowjohn knew this was the beginning of young artist in the making!
As the years went on, he continued to be inspired by Looney Tunes Space Jam, Ninja Turtles, Pokémon, Nintendo Games.
As mentioned in the Bio, Young Chad was mute, and spent most of his time outside playing in the trees and drawing. Like many artist, Young Chad would trace from time to time, then eventually was able to draw the character by memory.
Young Chad most likely wouldn't be drawing if it weren't for his family encouraging his growth as an artist. It's a beautiful thing, seeing young creations, play creator.
