Respecting the culture is having the knowledge and understanding of the dances, the songs, the regalias, the war bonnet! If the knowledge was in your brain, you'd realize how ridiculous you look. Perhaps the knowledge is there (by looking up Google, YouTube, etc.) then you know the meaning behind your "respectful" ways is mockery.
